More Vampires For Let Me In Director Matt Reeves

He’s in line to call the shots on a big screen adaptation of The Passage

After a group of terminally ill cancer patients are cured by the bites of South America bats, the US government starts experimenting to see if the flying mammals hold the key to a cancer cure (don’t government scientists ever watch horror movies? South Anerica and bats? It’s just asking for trouble). Instead they end up with a legion of nearly indestructible, telepathic vampires. Apparently, the tone is closer to 28 Days Later than Let Me In . Reeves will be supervising a rewrite of the script by John Logan (which is probably a good thing, since Logan gave us Star Trek Nemesis , Bats and the remake of The Time Machine ). Logan’s busy with the James Bond film (oh oh dear…)
