  • SouthPeak Games UE3 License Aims To Benefit Indie Devs

    Independent publisher SouthPeak Games has announced a studio licensing agreement with Epic Games to use its Unreal Engine 3 in the development of multiple PC and video game titles worldwide. The agreement is in effect throughout the life of the UE3 technology application across all major platforms, including downloadable content. SouthPeak's first release under the new license will be Monster Madness EX: Battle for Suburbia, currently under development by Psyonix Studios for Playstation 3.

    When speaking with a Representative of SouthPeak Games GamingTalk HQ recieved some brand new Exclusive information that probably won't be recieved with excitment, Monster Madness: Battle For Suburbia has been pushed back two weeks to May 29th. Though the reason for missing the oringal release date of May 16th is unclear. GamingTalk HQ says that an official announcement will be coming soon which will offer better understanding of the situation.

    The official demo for Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia has been released on the XBox Live marketplace and can be downloaded now if you're an Xbox Live Gold member. Xbox Live Silver members will need to wait at least seven days to download the demo.
