Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate coming to Wii U and 3DS

Amid a slew of other awesome announcements at Nintendo's Wii U conference, it was also announced that Capcom will be bringing a new version of Monster Hunter 3G to the Wii U and 3DS called Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

We'll have to wait a little while for it to arrive though as it's only barely what we'd consider a "launch window" game. It's scheduled to be arriving at some point in March 2013.

Cross-platform multiplayer was a highlight of the presentation as they touted the ability to continue your progress and send save games across Wii U and 3DS.

This pisses me off soo much, why couldn't they make a Monster Hunter for the current console generation?
