Supernatural Dad Joins Red Dawn (And He Wants to Be Lobo)
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Winchester Sr in Supernatural and Watchmen’s The Comedian) has joined the cast of the ramake of Red Dawn, reports Variety . The film is about a group of teenagers who band together to fight back when their home town is invaded by an joint force of Chinese and Russian soldiers. Morgan will play the leader of the US Special Forces team who discovers the teens' stronghold while behind enemy lines. It will be directed by Dan Bradley.

Morgan has also told Coming Soon that he'd loved to play Lobo in Guy Ritchie’s big screen adaptation of the DC Comics antihero: “That would be cool. Lobo would be very cool. I don't think that I'm as big as Lobo is, but if you could, like, transplant Mickey Rourke's body on my head, that would be just great."
