With our iPad 2 finally in hand following a FedEx trip around the globe, we're taking a look at the first four games enhanced for the device: new release Real Racing 2 HD, as well as the updated versions of iOS hits Infinity Blade, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, and Dead Space. But of course, there's another new Angry Birds game out this week, which is both exactly what you'd expect and thankfully different in a couple appreciated ways. Read on and check out these five fresh picks, all of which come recommended to owners of either iPad...
Call me biased, but there's something comfy about starting a new RPG and seeing your little guy walk down a hallway that looks like it came straight out of Chrono Trigger. When you kick off action RPG Inotia 3: Children of Carnia, you'll be prompted to choose a class: Templar, Rogue, Shadow Hunter, Priest or Arc Mage. It's standard stuff, for sure, but my eyebrows first went up when I got an eyeful of the art. It's very well done, as long as you don't mind that everyone's forehead is twice the size of a normal human being's. Seriously though, good stuff...

Hello, 2011! With TRON fever back in action recently, we're taking a look at the TRON: Legacy licensed game for iPad, as well as the wholly unexpected (and surprisingly enjoyable) Jenga HD. But we're also exploring a couple of recent original favorites in the form of iBomber Defense and Little Things, as well as one of the iPad's true classics, Flight Control HD. And not only that, but everything here can be had for $5 or less. Bargains!

GamesRadar's Platinum Chalices are different. We're not interested in checking off a massively tedious list of genres, platforms and technical subdivisions… we'd much rather focus on the stuff that makes this hobby, you know, fun. And reward whichever games delivered the most of that stuff.
So if you're looking for the best fan service, most satisfying gore or greatest achievement in old-school kickassery in 2010, you've definitely come to the right celebration. Let's get it started…
Listen. Hear that? It’s the sound of every slow-witted crank who thinks iPhone gaming is still nothing but Bejeweled knock-offs and crappy ports of free PC shovelware shutting the hell up once and for all. Infinity Blade is here. Infinity Blade is great. And Infinity Blade is proof that hardcore gamers need to start paying attention to iPhone or be left behind...
