Police in Lowell, Massachussetts are being bemused this week by the disappearance of a promotional statue advertising The Incredible Hulk. The statue, which stands at eight feet tall and has apparently been snapped off at the ankles because its base was bolted to a platform, was standing outside a local cinema when it was stolen.
According to the NY Daily News, Police Captain James McPadden says "the statue is probably some kid's bedroom", but adds that he thinks "more than one person was involved and that a car or pickup truck was needed to whisk it away". You think?
In any case, whoever is responsible, we bet they made their getaway carrying an incredible bulk.
