Mirror's Edge Catalyst Collector's Edition has a bittersweet diorama

Update: Looks like GameStop hasn't put pre-orders up for Mirror's Edge Catalyst Collector's Edition in stores or online yet, despite what EA says.

Growing up is hard in an authoritarian state built on concrete, glass, and oppression. That's the vibe I'm picking up from the Mirror's Edge Catalyst Collector's Edition, which comes with a 14-inch diorama of an older Faith looking back on her younger self with unrequited tenderness, separated by years of loss and hardship.

If all that's a bit too heavy for you, the Collector's Edition also comes with temporary Faith tattoos - one for your arm, and one for your eyelid. Be careful applying that second one, because you'll need your eyeballs in healthy condition to appreciate the exclusive lithograph and 10 concept prints.

The $199.99 package also has a Steel book for your game disc (the collector's edition is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One) and an understated storage box to keep your diorama and wisely unused eye tattoo safe for years to come. It's available for pre-order from GameStop now, with other retailers coming soon.
