Portable console players rejoice! Midway has announced new titles for both the Nintendo DS and Sony’s PSP. These games are being developed with the “casual gamer” in mind (think Brain Age, folks).
All those Touchmaster touchscreen games found in bars and arcades across the country are finding themselves on TouchmasterDS, slated for the Nintendo DS this summer. Games to be found on this new title will include Trivia, Solitaire, Gem Slide and Mah Jongg. For you competitive types, your brag worthy high scores in any of these games can be uploaded to Midway’s Tournament Network for all to gawk at. Expect bars and arcades across the country to suddenly go out of business this summer.
For those looking for brain games on the PSP, Hot Brain is coming to your favorite handheld console this summer. This game will engage your mental efforts through a slew of challenges and puzzles that aim to increase activity and temperature levels in your cerebral cortex. These activities will test your skills in logic, memory, math, language and concentration. So you don’t have to go at it alone, play modes will include up to 3 other people in your quest to a warmer head.
