Microsoft touring North America and Europe with Xbox One demos

Microsoft is touring North America and Europe to give people an early look at Xbox One in action. Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb announced on his blog this weekend that the next-gen console will debut at 75 cities around the world from now through late November.

The Area One traveling game showcase will include playable demos of Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Killer Instinct, LocoCycle, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Zoo Tycoon. Here are the tour dates for each location:

  • Philadelphia Oct. 3-6
  • Paris Oct. 10-13
  • Toronto Oct. 10-13
  • Chicago Oct. 17-20
  • Vienna Oct. 17-20
  • Atlanta Oct. 24-27
  • Dallas Oct.31-Nov. 3
  • Berlin Oct. 31-Nov. 3
  • Phoenix Nov. 7-10
  • San Francisco Nov.14-17
  • Dublin Nov. 14-17
  • Los Angeles Nov. 21
  • London Nov. 21-24

Don't fret if you can't make it to any of the above dates, as the Xbox One Test Drive is scheduled to hit 175 locations in North America and Europe with a customized vehicle packed with demo Xbox One units. Check out the One Tour's homepage to see a complete listing of events by location.

Also note that the Area One events are only for persons above the age of 18, and are open on a first-come, first-served basis.
