Mia Wasikowska, who will be seen as Alice in Tim Burton's Wonderland, is close to taking the lead role in Gus Van Sant's new drama, Restless.
Restless will follow the complicated story of a pair of teenagers (Wasikowska and a yet-to-be-cast lad) who share a distinct preoccupation with death and mortality.
And while the project sounds like classic Van Sant material, it's been attracting some hefty support behind the camera - Ron Howard and daughter Bryce Dallas Howard (below) are producing, alongside Brian Grazer.
And the script is being adapted by Jason Lew - who just happened to go to film school with Bryce - and who will adapt it from his own play.
As soon as he finds a leading actor and some more cast members, Van Sant plans to start shooting…
