While not quite as shocking as Samus taking off her armor to reveal her gender, Nintendo nonetheless surprised Metroid fans today by revealing a new game set in the infamous bounty hunter's universe. Metroid Prime: Federation Force for 3DS will allow players to join forces as they hunt down the worst criminals and ferocious beasts across a stylized galaxy.
Alternatively, if players would like something a bit less serious, Metroid Prime: Federation Force will include Blast Ball, a game where two teams of three fight so shoot a soccer-like ball into the opposing team's goal.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force was announced during the Nintendo press conference (okay, so technically it's a Nintendo Direct) at E3 2015. To catch up on all the Nintendo news and everything E3 2015, check out our respective hubs!
