  Metro 2033 Ranger Pack DLC Revealed

  THQ has today announced the Ranger Pack downloadable content (DLC) for the successful First-Person Shooter, Metro 2033. Set to arrive on both PC digital distribution network Steam and Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 in the near future, the Ranger Pack adds new weapons, new Achievements and the deadly Ranger Mode game rules.

  There is an IQ discrepancy between AMD's Radeon HD 5000 series video cards and NVIDIA's new GeForce GTX 480 video cards.   4A has announced the widescreen fix for Metro 2033 is due later today. A recent tweet states that the patch, which will implement proper widescreen support for the post-apocalyptic shooter, will be released today over Steam.

  Valve has anounced Metro 2033 will be available to play from midnight. In a post in the Steam forums, Valve confirmed that those who were smart enough to preload the game will be able to play from 00:00 GMT, 17:00 PST.
