Not so much Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as Metal Gear being mercilessly sliced to pieces and inadvisably coming back for more. Arriving via the clandestine purveryors of leaked video game content at Allgamesbeta, the lengthy video below shows off a rather epic boss fight between Raiden and one of the series' eponymous mechs.

Not only that, but 15 new screens have appeared, detailing, amongst other things, Raiden slicing an enemy soldier into three distinct chunks without sparing a single thought for the inconvenience this will cause.

Not much to say.. Just that these recoopilation was PURE awesome.

Holy nutballs, this is gonna be amazing. The combat all looks very Bayonetta and awesome. Any word yet on whether he'll have separate buttons for hands and feet attacks? My big question is whether there's still DMC/Bayonetta-style new weapons to unlock after bosses- like The 'Winds of Destruction' team's spear, sais and twin-swords? I'm not so sure about the new tech-support codec guy, though. I mean, I'm sure he's probably great, but... He's not Otacon, y'know?

Playing the demo, i can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that no, the hand and feet attacks aren't kept separate, the feet attacks are part of the combos of raiden, the button separation is made between standard and strong attacks. Also, according to a Q&A that IGN got, yes, Raiden will unlock new weapons from the bosses, so yush, Mistral's spear seems like it will be a no brainer for your new arsenal ^^ And well, I don't think it would have made sense for Otacon, or any of the guys you associate with snake to appear here... I mean, Raiden wasn't really attached to any of them, and this is an entirely new organization that's hiring him, so it makes sense that he'd have completely different people helping him out.

I know that TECHNICALLY it wouldn't have made sense, but I'm gonna miss Otacon either way. I always liked Otacon, and him and Raiden, ever since MGS2, share the spot as my favourite MGS characters. It'd have been nice to see them team up. But I'm glad about the weapon system thing. I'm sure I'll probably end up barely using anything but the high frequency blade, since I never really used anything besides Rebellion in DMC and Shuraba in Bayonetta, but DMC3's Agni/Rudra and Cerberus were both new weapons I enjoyed using, and I like at least having the OPTION to use something else, even if I don't

I guess it seemed like Metal Gear was always suited to Platinum's style, what with its giant robots and other fantastical enemies to dispatch. This is looking like if Vanquish's main weapon was a badass electro-sword. Funnily enough, Sam's weapon in Vanquish is called B.L.A.D.E. And yes, I actually remember what that stands for by heart, because I'm a nerd and remember such things. Because everyone else totally needs to know, it stands for Battlefield Logic ADaptive Energy Weapons System. Just, y'know, don't include "Weapons System" in the acronym so it can stay cool. BLADEWS just isn't as cool.

I could care less for this other addition im about to ask about but, by any chance will there be a multi-player mode as well? I know it does not NEED it but it would be kinda cool to do like a team of soldiers vs one bad-ass cyber ninja. i don't know, just my two cents out there.

I think it's been confirmed that there will be no multiplayer mode. Which is just as well if you ask me, not just because I don't like multilayer modes in general, but because playing the demo, I noticed the game could instead focus it's remaining development time to hash out technical stuff, like the fact that even the demo alone managed to crash twice on me XD
