Capcom recently hosted a special preview event for their upcoming Nintendo DS title, Okamiden. The event was held at the Dog Café With in Shinjuku, Tokyo, a specialty shop for dog lovers that offers high-end grooming, training lessons, and gourmet pet food.
Producer Motohide Eshiro and writer Yukinori Kitajimi were there to demonstrate the game and answer questions. But the real star was Moran-chan, the dog who will be playing Okamiden’s main character Chibiterasu in an upcoming commercial for the game.

Okamiden producer Motohide Eshiro said that we can expect ‘25 to 30 hours of playtime’, adding that he believes there’s quite a bit of content for a DS game.
Now, back to the dog.
He’s pretty cute, isn’t he? His fur seems very soft. If we had to review the act of petting him, we’d give it a 10/10. The upcoming Okamiden commercial starring Moran-chan will also feature the song Hanataba by Kitano Kii, an idol and actress (who is also not a dog).
