Mature games remade for the Wii family

Need for Legal Speed Limit

Following the success of Need for Speed: Shift, EA has decided to maintain its pursuit of driving realism with Need for Legal Speed Limit. Keen to forget past titles such as Underground and Undercover, which revolved around illegal street racing, this exclusive Wii title focuses on honing mundane, Highway Code-conscious driving techniques as you strive to pass your virtual driving test. The publisher is also pleased to announce customers who pre-order the game will receive a free code to download the forthcoming Parallel Parking 101 DLC.

The Wii family seal of approval

Midnight Mass Effect

In the build up to the much anticipated Mass Effect 2, BioWare is happy to reveal a Wii spin-off, based on the original game. Midnight Mass Effect offers a similar experience to the acclaimed sci-fi adventure, minus all that nasty shooting, swearing and scandalous sex. So set your phasers for good old fashioned clean fun, as you control an elite space commander obsessed with going to church, holding confessionals for his crew and reading bible passages to the Geth.

Dumbing-down otherwise mature games and putting them on the Wii for more profit? This could become a standard. @QWERTYCommander: I totally agree with you.

The problem I find these days is people think you have to have one OR another console. Why can't you have more? They all have their good and bad points. I like DS, Wii, PC, Xbox and Playstation, looking to get a PSP soon too. Instead of being single-minded and prejudice try a little of the best of each. Works for me.

Funny article. Exagerates how kiddy the wii is enormously and would be terrifying if it actually happened but every bit as clever as I've come to expect from you guys.
