Marvel's Jessica Jones gets a chilling new trailer

The latest trailer for Marvel's Jessica Jones from Netflix has landed online and it's the most disturbing yet. Krysten Ritter stars as the troubled heroine who spends more time drinking than actually saving anyone. Presumably, this will all change, but for now the new trailer paints a pretty bleak picture of the place the failed superhero is at.

The trailer does a good job of setting the scene for the start of the show, as Jessica Jones returns to her old life after a failed attempt to become a superhero. It isn't long though until local barman, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is onto her and although he has his own reasons for avoiding heroism, he's not about to let her of the hook so easy.

Throw in some creepy corner-of-your-eye sightings of the big bad Purple Man (David Tennant) and a psychologically tortured victim, and we're ready to hide under the covers! It looks like this new Marvel outing will be mirroring Daredevil's slightly darker tone, rather than the brighter outlook we sometimes see in the movies. Either way, we can't wait to see it! Co-starring Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss, Marvel's Jessica Jones will arrive on Netflix on November 20 2015.
