Madden 15 Ultimate Team tips

Picking players for your Ultimate Team

This is one of the first places that new MUT players start to get lost, so here are some important points about picking players for your squad without breaking the bank.

Fast, But Not Too Fast, QBs - It’s great to have a QB with amazing 90+ speed to run around with when you get in trouble in the pocket, but is that really the best thing? Try getting a better passing QB with a speed rating between 80-85. He’ll still be able to escape the pocket and move around in a jam, and if you run the Read Option, he’ll also have a much higher chance of not being targeted by a defender.

Individual Attributes, Not Overalls - This year, more than ever, individual ratings are more more important that player Overalls. When you are looking at cards on on the Auction House, press X / A to bring up the card information and hit L1 / LT to see all of the players Attributes.

Timing Is Everything - The best deals on cards are when promotions are going on. More people are buying packs, and putting up the extra cards on the marketplace. Everyone will be trying to undercut the last person that put that card up for sale. This is the perfect time to sneak in and get a card under the normal market value. From there, you can sit on the card, and try to re-sell it for a profit when a promotion is not going on. Usually MUT promotions happen on the weekends, so that is the time to strike.
