Imagine a music video crossed with a documentary about belief and you've fixed the Lucky People Center's debut feature in your mind. This Swedish musos' collective is already known in their own country, but Lucky People Center International is their most ambitious project yet.

LPCI has no single narrative thread. It's a masterfully edited collage of nature photography and interviews, weaving techno music with cunningly looped visual samples. Highlights include the man who sings with gibbons (Chand) and concludes that ""Man must dance - - we are not fully human unless we sing and dance"", and the Maori dancers who chant about the evils of the credit card.

Happily celebrating the diversity of human life and belief, LPCI is the perfect antidote to those Pre-Millennium Blues.
