Lost's Locke wins Emmy award

Despite us continually raving about how much good SF and fantasy there is on TV at the moment, it wasn't a great night for the genre at the 79th Annual Emmy Awards on Sunday.

Only Terry O'Quinn, Locke in Lost, picked up an award in the name of fantasy: he was voted Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Masi Oka, Hiro from Heroes, was also nominated. Heroes was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, too, but was beaten by The Sopranos.
