Lost Planet - levels 6-11

There's a data post up ahead, right? Well, before you run straight to it, arms wide open with glee, smash the crates to the right for five more disk grenades. Past the post you'll see two different ways to go. Guess what? Neither one really matters. Pick one (we're going right, just easy directions' sake) and you'll eventually walk into an enormous underground chamber. Bugs and Nevec soldiers alike are duking it out in here, but it's your job to finish what they've started. Pick your targets and have at it. If you went right, you'll have easy access to the upper part of this chamber, where you'll find soldiers poised and ready. You'll also see a red hangar to the south with a swanky new VS inside, plus the "L" mark. One of the "Z" letters is to the north (right next to the exit out of this chamber, conveniently enough). There are numerous other posts in this room, but their activation is up to you. If you need the energy, go for it. If not, they're optional. However, you'll definitely want to stop by the one close to the western wall, fairly north-ish. It's placed on top of four large containers - in between these containers and the red-lined wall is the other "Z" letter.

Once the room is clear, consider scavenging for ammo, both human and VS. Head to the elevated doorway (where you found the first "Z") and exit this chamber. Bust through the overturned truck, waste the enemy VS and hop into a new one yourself, located just around the left corner. Whenever you're ready, just hop down into the room below.

If the word "shitload" was ever meant to describe anything, it was this room, pertaining to how many Vital Suits are lined up. It's an army. But, before you start blasting enemies, get on top of this red metal grating. You'll find the "A" token up here, plus a good vantage point to fend off the tank VS below. Considering how many Suits there are, there sure aren't very many being used. You'd think there'd be a huge final battle against a battalion of Suits, but that's just not the case. Actually, you can simply head south and forget the rest of this place.

Falling into this hole will begin the boss fight - it's against the Flock of Seagulls general or whatever. He's in some of kind of crazy-enhanced VS, but that doesn't change a thing. Aim for the legs. Keep moving. Avoid his dash attack and sideways missiles. The pillars in the room will start spinning and shifting, but your radar will always let you know where he's at. Fire away and this final showdown ends with no problem at all.
