Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 tips

Albus Dumbeldore

Go to Dumbledore's office (where you went to start the level "the dark lord returns") with a character that can cast dark magic (Voldemort, Snape, Quirrel etc.) and head behind Dumbledore's desk and use crucio (the dark spell you use instead of wingardium leviosa as a dark wizard) on the lock on the black chest at the back. hit the chest with reducto afterwards to open it.

The Dumbledore character token will appear, grab it. Dumbledore costs a million studs at madam malkins. He is one of the most expensive characters in the game. Dumbledore has all spells apart from Avada Kedavra, he is a slow runner and cannot jump high. But he can open doors that need authority to open (you will find these in the bonus levels at Gringotts) He does not have a special ability.

Tom Riddle

The Basilisk level

In the second year on the last level you can get Tom Riddle. A dark wizard. select the level and do free play. then when in the final part against the basilisk there is a goblin lock in the far right corner. select Griphook and turn this lock inside is a dark wizard named Tom Riddle.

Mad Eye Moody

Under charms classroom

In the trapdoor in the Wingardium Leviosa room, you will see a dragon skeleton. Use WIngardium Leviosa on the dragon head and connect it to the body. Then attach the arm onto the body too. Once the dragon is put together, Mad Eye Moody's token will appear.

Use Trip Jinx Against Flitwick

charms classroom

First, use the trip jinx to knock Flitwick off the pile of books. Then, attack him with fang, and every hit should have the same effect as the trip jinx. Works with most other jinxes and victims as well.
