LEGO Harry Potter getting studly on iOS devices

With the second tolast Harry Potter film just around the corner, Warner Brothers has announced that it will be bringing its hugely successful LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 title to all iOS devices.

Having already been summoned to every other imaginable gaming device, Potter's move to Apple's i-devices was just a matter of time. From early indications, it looks like the game willbe a pretty complete portof the console versions, although multiplayer plans have yet to be clarified.

Given all the extra bells and whistles on the iPad and iPhone, andthe magical nature of the franchise itself, it would be a shame if the port didn't include at least some motion sensing, voice activation or touch screen gameplay wizardry.

Harry Potter Years 1-4 has no official release date yet, but expect it to drop around the same time as the movie version of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallowsarrives this month.
