Necho Cat

This frisky feline will prance around the battlefield with you…and by “prance,” we mean “cat-scratch Nightmares into oblivion.”

Ingredients:

  • Dulcet Fancy (3) + Troubling Figment (8)

Recipe: Won in a Link Portal challenge.

Link Attack: Paw Groove. As Sora and Necho Cat dance, press the displayed buttons in rhythm to damage surrounding enemies.

Link Style: Darkest Fears. Riku attacks with claws on his hands and feet.


Thunderaffe

You don’t think of giraffes as fast animals…until Thunderaffe charges into you and sends you flying.

Ingredients:

  • Fleeting Fancy (5) + Noble Figment (9)
  • Fleeting Fancy (5) + Noble Fancy (7)
  • Fleeting Fantasy (2) + Noble Fancy (4)
  • Fleeting Fantasy (2) + Lofty Fancy (3)

Recipe: Can be purchased at the Medal Shop in Traverse Town’s Fourth District. Can also be won in a Link Portal challenge.

Link Attack: Equestrian Raid. Sora rides on Thunderaffe’s back. Charge into enemies to deal damage, and use the Equestrian Raid command for a gliding attack.

Link Style: Thunderstorm. Riku battles with a variety of electricity-based attacks.


Kooma Panda

Bear hugs are plentiful with Kooma Panda. This lovable oaf will stand by your side in any fight.

Ingredients:

  • Vibrant Fancy (3) + Rampant Figment (8)
  • Vibrant Fancy (4) + Intrepid Fancy (3)
  • Vibrant Fancy (3) + Intrepid Figment (5)
  • Vibrant Fantasy (2) + Malleable Fantasy (1)
  • Vibrant Fantasy (2) + Intrepid Figment (4)
  • Vibrant Fantasy (2) + Intrepid Fancy (5)

Recipe: Can be purchased at the Medal Shop in Traverse Town’s Fourth District.

Link Attack: Swing Fling. Kooma Panda whirls Sora around like a shot put. Move around to deal damage to enemies in the swing radius and use the Finish command for a final impact.

Link Style: Shining Hammer. Riku attacks with fast light-based strikes.


Pegaslick

You knew there had to be a Pegasus somewhere in Kingdom Hearts, and here it is. Pegaslick will glide around the battlefield and control the battle in the air.

Ingredients:

  • Lofty Fancy (4) + Fleeting Figment (8)
  • Lofty Fancy (6) + Fleeting Fancy (4)
  • Lofty Fancy (3) + Dulcet Fancy (4)
  • Lofty Fantasy (2) + Dulcet Fancy (4)
  • Lofty Fantasy (4) + Brilliant Fantasy (1)

Recipe: Can be purchased from Moogle Shops once you reach the Country of the Musketeers.

Link Attack: Belly Raid. Sora hops on Iceguin Ace’s back and rides him like a snowboard. Ride into enemies to deal damage.

Link Style: Wavesurfer. Riku rides a surfboard and uses it to strike enemies.


Peepsta Hoo

Peepsta who? Peepsta Hoo is the owl-like Spirit that will hoot its way to victory.

Ingredients:

  • Charming Fantasy (1) + Troubling Fantasy (3)
  • Wondrous Fancy (3) + Dulcet Figment (4)
  • Wondrous Fancy (3) + Malleable Fantasy (1)
  • Wondrous Figment (4) + Troubling Figment (8)

Recipe: Found by Riku in a chest in the southern section of the Rectifier 1F in The Grid.

Link Attack: Fly-by Knight. Sora glides around the battlefield with Peepsta Hoo on his back. Charge into enemies to deal damage and use the Fly-by Knight command for extra impact.

Link Style: Darkest Fears. Riku attacks with claws on his hands and feet.


Escarglow

A heavy shell protects Escarglow from damage. Unfortunately, we have no proof that cooking and eating it will indeed make you glow.

Ingredients:

  • Fleeting Fancy (3) Malleable Fantasy (1)
  • Fleeting Fancy (3) + Grim Figment (8)
  • Fleeting Figment (3) + Grim Figment (4)
  • Fleeting Figment (4) + Noble Figment (6)
  • Fleeting Figment (2) + Vibrant Figment (11)
  • Fleeting Figment (6) + Wondrous Figment (10)

Recipe: Can be purchased from Moogle Shops once you reach The Grid.

Link Attack: Roll Call. Sora hops onto Escarglow as he spins vertically inside his shell, rolling into enemies to deal damage.

Link Style: Wavesurfer. Riku rides a surfboard and uses it to strike enemies.


KO Kabuto

The armored beetle KO Kabuto is a long-range fighter. Watch out for the artillery it spreads across the battlefield.

Ingredients:

  • Noble Fancy (3) + Rampant Figment (6)
  • Noble Fancy (4) + Lofty Fancy (3)
  • Noble Fancy (3) + Grim Fancy (3)
  • Noble Fancy (3) + Intrepid Figment (4)
  • Noble Fantasy (2) + Intrepid Fancy (3)
  • Noble Fantasy (2) + Troubling Fantasy (2)

Recipe: Can be purchased from Moogle Shops once you reach Prankster’s Paradise.

Link Attack: Trap Shot. Sora hops on Staggerceps’ back and uses it as a turret. Aim your crosshairs to damage enemies, and use the Trap Shot command for more damage.

Link Style: Fire Raid. Riku battles with a variety of flame-based attacks.


Wheelflower

It’s almost the namesake of Jakob Dylan’s band, but the Wheelflower’s true strength is in healing. Need a little health boost? Wheelflower is the one to do it.

Ingredients:

  • Lofty Fancy (3) + Rampant Figment (8)
  • Lofty Fancy (3) + Charming Fantasy (1)
  • Lofty Figment (3) + Rampant Figment (4)
  • Lofty Figment (4) + Dulcet Figment (2)
  • Lofty Figment (4) + Troubling Fantasy (2)

Recipe: Found by Sora in a chest in the south-central section of the Town in La Cites de Cloches.

Link Attack: Cure Sun. Wheelflower continually heals the party until the Link gauge depletes. Sora’s health also regenerates during this time.

Link Style: Wavesurfer. Riku rides a surfboard and uses it to strike enemies.


Ghostabocky                                                                                                                         

The creepy yet cute Ghostabocky will haunt your dreams (pun totally intended) with its wicked teleportation abilities.

Ingredients:

  • Wondrous Fantasy (3) + Lofty Fancy (3)
  • Wondrous Fantasy  (3) + Dulcet Figment (5)
  • Wondrous Fantasy (3) + Dulcet Fancy (6)

Recipe: Won by Riku in a special Link Portal challenge in Symphony of Sorcery.

Link Attack: Ghost Vacuum. Aim Ghostabocky around as he inhales enemies, then chomp them up with the Finish command.

Link Style: Darkest Fears. Riku attacks with claws on his hands and feet.

    Pretty good guide, I wish you had which abilities(Ability Link) each Dream Eater had. Trying to find which have all the passives>_<.

    Focus on changing your Spirits' dispositions - it'll open up new paths. Also, there are no unique actives, as they can all be found or purchased.

    Buying from Moogle Shops and enemy drops are the most common ways. Otherwise, spamming the Link Portals is your best bet. Some ingredients can be found in chests, though.
