Like any good comic-based game, several costumes are available throughout the adventure. In his Kandor gear, Superman's using his Heat Vision to meltify a Brainiac Assault Robot. Always with the robots. Can't we ever rip apart something else?
For all the non-nuts DC fans who aren't quite sure what a "Kandor" is, it used to be the capital city on Krypton, Superman's home planet. If memory serves, Brainiac shrunk it or something so it wouldn't blow up with the rest of the planet, but comicdom is convoluted enough without miniaturized cities floating around space.
