Jurassic Park 3D re-release poster launches

Jurassic Park is gearing up to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a 3D re-release next year, and a new poster has been unveiled.

Two Jurassic Park icons dominate the poster: the logo seen throughout the movie (and also slapped across merchandise everywhere in 1993), and those towering gates, parting for the arrival of one of the guest-carrying 4x4s.

There’s one new addition though, with '3D' bolted across the top. While we’d hesitate to ever call a 3D conversion particularly necessary, we’ll never skip a chance to revisit JP on the big screen, no matter how many dimensions are on offer.

And the real deal-sealer is the fact that this version will be getting an outing on IMAX 3D. Those dinosaurs will never have looked bigger.

Jurassic Park 3D opens on 5 April 2013, in the US and the UK.
