Conan The Barbarian star Jason Momoa says he has written a sequel to the 2011 film.
According to Momoa, he has already submitted the script for a follow up to the fantasy action film to the studio.
"I wrote it," the Game Of Thrones actor told CraveOnline. "So we're waiting to see if they'll accept it."
Momoa said the story wasn't based on existing material.
"It's character-adapted, because I really want to get into more of the mythical creatures, you know?" he added.
Thomas Dean Donnelly, Joshua Oppenheimer and Sean Hood share writing credits on the 2011 remake, based on author Robert E. Howard's character.
Conan The Barbarian opens in UK cinemas on 24 August.
