Jason Becker could be the greatest rock guitarist who ever lived, but there’s a good reason why you might not know his name.

In 1989, the 19-year-old prodigy was offered the biggest gig on earth – playing lead axe in David Lee Roth’s new band – just one week before he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and given two years to live.

More than two decades later, a completely paralysed Becker is using eye movements to carry on making music.

Jesse Vile’s moving documentary can’t go wrong with such an inspiring, funny and genuinely nice guy taking the spotlight he deserves.
