Word on the street (er, OK, we read it on Wired ) is that Dan Ackroyd has confirmed there’s going to be a new Ghostbusters game in 2008.
Earlier this year the net was abuzz with chat about one supposedly in development, but which had stalled over who had the rights to make it. Speaking to the Edmonton Sun, the man who played Dr Raymond Stantz said Universal had acquired the rights, and he’d be doing motion-capture for it.
We fondly remember the 1985 Ghostbusters ZX Spectrum game , mostly for the digitised theme tune and terrible graphics, so we’re looking forward to this 21st century update. Link here , although it’s mostly about singing and drinking, not catching ghosts.
