Anyone fancy a Victorian comedy about the invention of the vibrator?
In 2006 a film called Rabbit Fever spoofed women's relationships with their special electric friends and having given it one star (“Smirking mockumentary that’s nowhere near as stimulating as its subject”) TF hoped this would be the last comedy about vibrators it had to sit through.
And then the trailer for Hysteria hit the web.
The movie about Victorian doctor Joseph Mortimer Granville’s invention of a device to cure women's hysteria will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this September.
Despite the final scene in this trailer, we can't see this one getting a Royal Gala screening in the UK.
Hysteria is expected to open in the UK later this year.
