Halo 4 multiplayer guide

Gear up Spartans

Longbow

Another possible Halo 4 favorite is Longbow. Longbow takes place in a frigid, snow-covered climate and is likely the game’s largest map. Longbow is extremely unique in that it’s so massive in scope and available for vehicular gameplay, yet it allows for major infantry battles amongst its several bases strewn out in every corner of Longbow. Power weapons are widely available throughout the map and should be used in conjunction with your primary weapon, which we suggest is some sort of rifle apart from the standard assault choice. It should also be noted that Longbow is one of the game’s maps that hosts several of Halo 4’s newest game modes – one reason it was designed in the first place according to 343 Industries.

Power Weapons

Rocket Launcher x 2
Both rocket launchers rests near each team’s initial spawn point, up on a hill just off the main path.

Railgun
The railgun rests on the opposite side of the map’s main structure (where the Spartan Laser is located) near an overhang that bridges to one spawn and the middle fighting ground.

Spartan Laser
The spartan laser rests on a high rise outside of the map’s main structure, located in the middle of the map.

Sniper Rifle x 2
Grenades
Random Drop Weapons

Vehicles

Turret x 2
Warthog x 4
Mongoose x 2
Ghost x 2

Gameplay Tips

Longbow is a gorgeous map, filled with endless gameplay opportunities. Vehicles aren’t absolutely vital here, mainly due to the waves of power weapons available, along with the absence of a Banshee, but if you’re one who likes to control vehicles, then you’ll definitely want to jump in your vehicle of choice. If you chose to duke it out on the ground, then you’ll want to run and grab a power weapon in defense of vehicles. The only downside to Longbow is for assault rifle lovers. Assault rifles nearly useless here and offer little chance for headshots, which are important for success in Longbow in any game mode.

"Though Adrift is similar is scope to Abandon" I believe you mean "similar in scope"

I think your friend is lying to you. I'd keep an eye on your wallet, if I were you.

Hello common984 It's nice to see such good manners on a message board so I'll go easy on you. This is http://www.gamesradar.com, not http://www.shun-happymall.com. I know this can be confusing if you are new to the internet but there are some helpful hints. The address bar (that white one at the top of your screen) should tell you where you are as well the word "GamesRadar" printed pretty much everywhere. Another hint is what the website is presenting. In this case it's games, games, GAMES! Not suspicious bargins, missed deliveries, EMPTY BANK ACCOUNTS! That would be the website you erroreously welcomed us to. I Know you meant http://www.gamesradar.com but I have to stress this. We don't want users accidently going to that website. It's full of spyware and dubious trading. Be careful, yourself. Anyways, welcome to http://www.gamesradar.com and thank you for being so friendly.

That's very good and well Mr. Steinlage, but you still haven't thought the most important factor of Halo: how to present ourselves to the online community. What racist comments do I use to show off my superiority? How should I phrase my death threats if somebody gets a lucky shot on me? How long should I stalk their accounts? And what is the best way to quickly teabag a downed player whilst making homophobic remarks without a sense of irony?

I think you may be right ;) haha, thanks for catching that!

You know, I probably should have included that! I personally like the "I'M GOING TO HACK YOUR ACCOUNT" threats that I regularly receive!

Haha, bass88, you're cracking me up!
