Hey, isn't that the girl from The Chronicles of Narnia?
  • ParagonT - July 12, 2012 7:49 p.m.

I'm impressed. Seriously. I think this may be good for what it is, it looks fantastic. Although there are sure to be things that do not make sense or are awkward, I think its better than nothing to be sure. These are definitely the types of things I will support.

Why did they change the Chief's voice?
  • mpdahaxing - July 12, 2012 8:08 p.m.

At the beginning of the invasion, Chief was only in his 20s I think. The events of Halo: CE take place in 2552, a good 25+ years after the invasion started. You have to check the books though, I may be off a bit.

He was 14 years old if you are going by the books( I know you are I'm just saying that for other people) . He and the other Spartans began training in 2517, at that time they were six yrs old. The first contact with the covenant is in the year 2525, when the planet Harvest is destroyed. At that point in time MC and the other Spartans would have been 14 yrs old.

Not sure, perhaps he's too busy under contract, voicing other things, or expensive.

  • LovesJapanManga - July 12, 2012 9:48 p.m.

Fingers crossed that CC (Closed-Captioning) or Subtitle will be available as option to watch them with. Looks good, though...
  • DualWieldingIsNotFeasible - July 13, 2012 2:54 a.m.

Looks damn good, but that's definitely not Steve Downes. I'm betting that he just hasn't recorded his VO, yet, and this is placeholder dialog.
  • ObliqueZombie - July 13, 2012 5:05 a.m.

You know what? I'm glad they can do episodic bites like this. We've been rallying for a movie, but what would we sacrifice? Jake Gyllenhaal playing the Chief?
  • EwoksTasteLikeChicken - July 13, 2012 8:30 a.m.

If they can make little episodes like this, I still don't get why there couldn't be an actual Halo movie.
  • angelusdlion - July 13, 2012 1:22 p.m.

Stay close to me... don't worry as long as you do you're invulnerable.. also you'll never run out of ammo.
