Next up is the ever-stunning Portal - a physics-bothering puzzle game that has you leaping through portals torn in the fabric of space to solve environmental challenges. Check out this gameplay footage to see an example, with your character warping blocks, energy beams and a sentry gun around the level to show off the game's incredible action.
Finally, we get to see the cartoon-tastic Team Fortress 2 in action, with this trailer giving you an idea of the unique abilities each class of soldier has - so a Heavy can spit out billions of bullets from his mini-gun, while the Spy's cloaking skills give him the edge when sneaking up on unaware opponents. Get your eyes pointed at these trailers now, as all three games are going to be staggeringly huge.
In other breaking news, Valve has sadly confirmed that Half-Life 2: Episode Two (and the included Portal and Team Fortress 2) has been delayed until early next year. But it's not all bad, as the developer has also stated that Portal's exciting warp-gun might appear as a usuable tool in Episode Three, which is currently expected to launch in the second half of 2007.
