1. In this burned out building, located in northern Sandy Shores, which presumably belonged to Merle himself, you can find graffiti on the wall that say “There will be 8”. As mystifying as that seems at first, it’s a clear sign of Merle’s intentions that there will be 8 victims. You can also see a small drawing in the top left hand corner which is a reference to something we’ll get to soon enough.
The Odd Marking
2. At the rear of Merle’s house, there is more graffiti written, presumably by those that torched his place down. It reads “Go away Merle Abrahams, you’re a wrong’un”. Also if you look inside the house, you’ll find numerous “8”s written on the walls and jars that contain some things that don’t look too healthy to be keeping around.
3. In another run down building just to the southwest of the burned down building, you can find this newspaper article posted on a column. It says that the Infinite Killer, Merle Abrahams, died the previous night at the penitentiary where he was locked up for the murders of 8 local joggers. The full article reads:
“Merle Abrahams, the suspected Infinity Killer, passed away last night in Bolingbroke Penitentiary while awaiting trial for abduction and torture. Abrahams, 57, was suspected to be responsible for the Infinity Murders, a series of disappearances that happened 5 years ago. Police believed the 8 victims, who were all single young men who were killed while jogging, were all murdered by the same person and had circumstantial evidence linking Mr. Abrahams to the victims. No bodies were ever found and Abrahams never confessed, although he did admit to a weird obsession to the number 8.”
