Epsilon Tracts Locations

With the Epsilon program complete (assuming you didn't steal the car), Marnie will send you a clue about finding an Epsilon tract - there are 10 total to find, and Marnie sends a new clue every time you find the previous one. You've already unlocked the achievement/trophy at this point, and the tracts are simply for collecting. There's no reward for finding them all. However, we know you guys will still want to track them down. So here you go:

Tract #1 - Mount Chiliad

The first Epsilon tract is atop Mount Chiliad. Head to the observation deck on the summit to find it.

Tract #2 - Palamino Highlands

Off the east coast of the Palamino Highlands is a bay. Take a dinghy out there and go diving to find the wreckage a of a massive boat. The second tract is on the ocean floor next to the wreck.

Tract #3 - Pacific Ocean

This one is a bit off (yet obviously, on) the map. Head to the large northern island at the tip top of the map. You'll find a tract here.

Tract #4 - Mount Chiliad

Marked on the map is the south entrance to the tunnel that runs through Mount Chiliad. Enter that tunnel and proceed until you reach a small set a of steps. The tract is atop them, against a door.

Tract #5 - Little Seoul

There is an old church in north Little Seoul. Head there to find the next track at the base of the building.

Tract #6 - Paleto Cove

The next tract is along the coast in Paleto Cove. In this area is the Sonar Collections Dock, a business also available for purchase. Head to the end of the dock and down the short steps to find the tract.

Tract #7 - Richman

The next tract is in swanky Richman. At the northern edge of the district is an exquisite mansion. Head up the private driveway to find a tract inside a set of stairs before the mansion entrance.

Tract #8 - Mount Chiliad

It's back to the game's big old mountain for this one. As you can see from the screenshot, the next tract is very near where you acquired the first one. Just walk down the slope and snatch it from under the tree.

Tract #9 - Downtown

You'll need a helicopter for this one. The Maze Bank is the tallest building in the game, and the penultimate tract sits atop it. Fly up to the roof for the high altitude collectible.

Tract #10 - Pacific Bluffs

In the southeast edge of Pacific Bluffs is a cemetery. In the center of said cemetery is a lake, and you'll find the final tract next to an island grave in that lake.

I am stuck between the second and third mission. I met the lady in the random building and then it said to donate $5000. But I didn't know I was supposed to wait for an email so I went ahead and did it on the website. Now I'm not getting the email and nothing else from this string of missions. I've saved and switched characters and donated a bunch of times but nothing. Frustrating that now I can't get 100% even after I wasted all that time searching for those damned letter scraps.

Not to be rude but you should pay more attention before giving bad advice. If you pay closer attention you will notice as you get updates on how far you ran it will start off with a zero before the number, this is because there is a point (.) in there. It's not 50 miles you need go it's 5.0... Just like the other guy, he didn't run 10 miles but 1.0

20 minutes of non-stop mashing A/X while running in a circle with your left stick held all the way back will give you your five miles.

*** ATTENTION ** To get 100% on the last Epsilon strangers mission, you have to kill all Epsilonists at the heli-landing and get $2.1 Million dollars. After the mision you get a call from Cris, then after a few in-game hours (2-3 minutes) you receive a text from Marnie about the Epsilon Tracts, in which you can then start finding. If you decide to allow those cult-ridden brainwashed fucks have the money you get a marvelous rusty old tractor, Woo-fucking-hoo-to-you, and get a different message from Cris and a more positive text from Marnie.

Ok, so i gave the 500 bucks in donation in the desert after being attacked at the red truck and then joined my buddies online session, i left story mode and when i came back to story mode the little kifflom mark wasnt there. I did the identity evaluation again and gave 500 bucks too hoping it would restart the mission but nothing happened. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME????????,?
  • BENNO__64 - May 8, 2014 3:11 a.m.

Ok, so one of two things have happened. 1. the Autosave didn't finish saving before you left to go online, or it was off. 2. you have to wait a few in-game days till it appears. It varies to-person-to-person. For example the last mission of Strangers and freaks (at 100%) took 4 real life days of playing storymode to finally appear for me. If this side mission doesn't appear, reply back, and I'll help you try and fix it.
  • Notorious98 - May 8, 2014 9:49 p.m.

Yeah its been about 3-4 day and it never appeared again. Nothing happens when i donate 500 or 5000 and when i re-evaluate my identity

Alrighty, so since the Epsilon missions are "Michael only" stranger missions, switch to Trevor and ring Michael to have some fun (drinks, strip club, tennis, etc.) then switch to Franklin and do the same with Michael. Hopefully when you switch back to Michael It should re-spawn. (that's how I got the 100% stranger mission for Franklin to spawn, as well as going online and going back to StoryMode.

How come the desert pilgrimage doesn't pop up for me? I did the last one, and then I went to the marker, and it told me to have the robes on. I put them on, but then it disappeared. WTF

in the section ,Epsilon tracts you said that if you steal the money you cant do the Epsilon tracts, well your wrong you still can do it
  • AngelAscension - September 23, 2013 11:34 p.m.

Is anyone having trouble with the 5 miles you have to run?? i ran 10 miles but it says i abandoned the pilgrimage. I have been told after 4 miles you get a phone call saying good work keep it up. Why is this playing up

Did you stay in the desert? There are actual borders you have to stay in. To be safest, run in a big ol' circle.
  • Rub3z - September 28, 2013 2:04 a.m.

Hey man, the stats page lists 15 Epsilon Tracts, and your Easter Eggs list gives reason to believe there's a significant reward for finding them. Any insight on the additional ones, assuming they're actually available?
  • Tony Wilson - September 28, 2013 7:44 a.m.

By all accounts, it seems to be a typo. Only 10 spawn, and people think the 15 is Rockstar messing with us.
  • BENNO__64 - January 13, 2014 10:11 p.m.

It's a total of 50 miles (yes I know that bitch Marnie says 5 miles) but its a play on realism, as if you were running in the desert. Like that saying "that mile felt like 10" So basically for each 10 miles you do in the desert is counted as 1. so at 44 miles I got the phone call from Cris saying one more mile. At 50 miles it said I ran the total 5 miles.
  • bobert-brinkman - August 24, 2014 7:38 p.m.

It's five miles. I think you might have mixed up .1( one tenth of a mile) for one mile. When Chris calls he does so at 4.4 miles or four and four tenths of a mile. The dots are small:)
  • BENNO__64 - August 24, 2014 9:57 p.m.

I never saw a decimal dot on my TV screen for the three times I did this mission. (Yeah I ended up failing twice by running out of the invisible desert radius.) Plus every few "miles" I ran, it would pop-up on the screen as a notification, with a counter eg: 25 miles.
