The Brit sitcom is currently in a healthy state thanks to a wave of impressive talent and a raft of cracking scriptwriters.
One such show keeping our pecker up is channel 4's top-notch gag-flinger, Green Wing. A cult favourite, with its surreal and inventive comedy and a stable of superb actors comfortable to work off the cuff – such as Stephen Mangan, Sarah Alexander and Pippa Haywood.
The second series of the off-the-wall hospital-based comedy arrives on DVD today and to celebrate, we’ve managed to get hold of some deleted scenes and decided they were too good not to share.
