GRAW 2 Multiplayer Strategy Blowout - Part One

Favorite Map - "Embassy"

What is the best game type for the map?

I really enjoy playing Domination on this map.I guess the thing about playing this game type is that it's fast and each player has to pull their own weight in order for the entire team to be successful. When your job is to secure and maintain a corridor or a zone, it always feels really good when your team wins and you held down your spot.

What is the best team strategy?

I've found that the best team strategy is for everyone to take a role, be extremely coordinated and communicate constantly.“Zone A” only requires one person to secure/maintain it, so the rest of the team needs to attack the other zones in tandem if possible (depending on how many people are in the game) and preferably from different angles.Once a zone is secure, some can be maintained by one person... so the other player that helped take the zone needs to peel off and assist on another, more highly contested zone.Once a zone is secured, I like to get as far away from the zone as possible, but keeping it in sight.Once you see someone go in, take them out and shift to a different location because normally they will come looking for you in the position that you shot them from.On a personal note, I like securing Zone A (on top of the building) because I'm very lazy and it's pretty easy to defend…but not so easy to take back once someone has dug in sufficiently.

What is the best soldier class?

For me, the best soldier class for this map would probably have to be Rifleman. This class just gives me more options to use based on any situation that I may run into on this map.I can be calculated and precise if I want to (which is my normal mode of play)... or I can run-and-gun if I need to.

What is the best weapons loadout?

My loadout usually consists of the FAMAS or the MR-C, a silent pistol (for the humiliation factor of taking someone out with it at close range when they aren't looking) and smoke grenades.

What is the best use of the terrain?

Embassy is one of those maps that has either really tight corridors or really open spaces.I would say first, avoid the open... you're asking to get lit up by bullets.Although you'll be tempted to run out into the open to get somewhere faster, I will usually take a less traveled route, since most people are just waiting for someone in the open.Secondly, be deliberate when moving through the alleys. Most people run as fast as they can everywhere.I stop at all of the corners, pause for a second, and then proceed at a moderate pace when I'm sure it's clear. With my reticule tight and my movement slow, I should have the advantage when someone tears around a corner.
