One of the games that Sony used to showcase the power of PlayStation 3 at its pre-E3 conference was Gran Turismo HD - a playable demo created especially for the show - and you can see the footage for yourself by right-clicking each of the following links and downloading the movies:

• Gran Turismo HD movie #2 (WMV, 9.3MB)
• Gran Turismo HD movie #3 (WMV, 7.2MB)
Unsurprisingly, Gran Turismo looks absolutely amazing on PS3 and Sony has stated that the "visual quality in Gran Turismo HD is 12 times higher than Gran Turismo 4 on PS2". Jeepers.
We managed to squeeze our way through the post-conference crowd for a spin on Gran Turismo HD, so stay tuned for our hands-on impressions which should be motoring along shortly.
