GR+ Live: Meet the mind behind Xbox One's The Flame in the Flood

The Flame in the Flood, out this week on Xbox One, is not your typical survival game. Awash in vivid color, this story of a woman and her dog trying to make it down river in a mean, cold world is as beautiful as it is punishing. The Molasses Flood, a studio boasting talent behind the likes of BioShock Infinite, has made a game that piques curiosity something fierce.

Join us for a look inside the game alongside designer Forrest Dowling starting at 4:30PM ET/1:30PM PT/9:30PM GMT.

I've been playing games since I turned four in 1986, been writing about them since 1987, and writing about them professionally since 2008. My wife and I live in New York City. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game ever made, Hum's Downward is Heavenward is my favorite album, and I regularly find myself singing "You Won't See Me" by The Beatles in awkward situations.
