God of War II teaser offered up
[PS2] New visions of the Grecian gore-fest
Wednesday 27 September 2006
Our prayers for another glimpse of Kratos' return to PS2 have been answered with an action-packed, but all-too-brief, teaser movie - head on up to the movies tab to see PS2 going out in legendary style.
As well as a whistle-stop tour of some of the excessively epic new locations, including the three massive horses that hold the Temple of the Fates at the edge of the world, it shows that everybody's favourite psychopath is a bit more flexible this time around.
Above: It wouldn't be a God of War game if the levels didn't think really, really big
Climbing, grapple-swinging, and able to seamlessly switch between blades and thunderbolt-flinging bow like a buff medieval Dante, Kratos should be well-equipped to deal with all the new or resurrected baddies the game can throw at him.
And, of course, there's much more to be seen - but Sony is playing it quiet until a little closer to the game's release next year.
