As the shockwaves from the tragic death of Heath Ledger continue to pulse across the industry, the actor’s latest project has been thrown into limbo.
And you’ve got to feel for Terry Gilliam, who's not only lost a great friend (he and Ledger bonded while making The Brothers Grimm), but also faces the possibility that another film will shut down mid-shoot. The Imaginarium Of Dr Parnassus is currently in a holding pattern, with crewmembers reportedly sent home and the insurance company working with the director to move forward. It’s likely the film will either fold completely, be recast or shoot around the footage that Ledger had completed.
