Shadow Mode
To get Shadow mode you must beat the Game in easy with any character you might want to put auto save on just in case you forget to save the game. This mode is sorta like arena mode.

Unlock Kobuchi.
Play with any character and complete the game for the third time. Finally defeat Angela to unlock new player, Kobuchi.

Hard Mode
All you have to do is successfully complete Urban Fighters Mode with all 6 characters. Hard mode will enable you to get other characters such as Angela.
