Gears of War's 'Mad World' trailer is back with (sort of) all-new footage
One of Xbox's most iconic series also got its most iconic trailer - it had to return, really. And return it does, although in a new shape. While Gears of War: Ultimate Edition's 'Mad World' opens with the same plaintive puddle-pondering of the original, this version quickly swaps the CGI chase scene of 2006's trailer for an action montage of "all new" in-game footage.
I mean, it's all new in the sense that we haven't seen precisely this footage before. Just fuzzier versions of it from nine years ago. I guess that's OK? Anyway, here's the new trailer:
