GDC 2012 Independent Games Festival - We interview some of the winners and finalists

These past few months have had some pretty awesome indie games released. Whether they're a two to six hour adventure that leaves you tearing up at the end, or include a stylized atmosphere that ties in a catchy soundtrack, there were more than a few worth honoring. Most outsiders would agreed that these devs put a lot of love (and maybe even a piece of their soul) into them. At GDC this year those games had a chance to be recognized during the Independent Games Festival for 2012.

We got a chance to talk with the people behind some of those honored titles. Check out these developer interviews with the folks responsible for Fez, Spelunky, and To The Moon below:

I've already got To the Moon (Music for the game is great BTW). Checking out Spelunky in a bit (DLing the PC version is free it seems?). FEZ also seems interesting. Also, PLEASE use a different video player GamesRadar, or at least improve the existing one. It's a PoS.
