As the PSOne games on PSN drought continues on this side of the planet, Japan's Famitsu magazine has revealed that the original Metal Gear Solid will be hitting the PSN in spring for play on PS3 and PSP.

MGS was, in case you lived in the Himalayas at the time, one of the best games on the PSOne - a platform-defining title upon which the whole modern MGS craze was built. Its arrival on the PSN would be sweet.

But there is, unsurprisingly, no mention of the game coming to the US or UK PSN Store. We're badgering Sony as we type...
