Pre-E3 06: Lego Star Wars II news blast

Multi: Check out the new trailer as blocky parody jumps to Xbox 360

Microsoft's Xbox 360 has become the latest name added to an almost endless list of machines that Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is set to be released for. We could give you the full roster, but it's easier to say that, come September, the only ones missing out will be the PS3, Wii and Gizmondo.

And to coincide with the September release of the Game Boy Advance, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox and now Xbox 360 versions, LucasArts is planning all manner of marketing mayhem.

As the game hits shelves, so once again will the original trilogy, this time sold in two-disc DVD packs, with each set including a new cast commentary and the original, un-CGI-ed version of each movie.

And just to clean out any remaining change from your wallet, Lego will produce a new range of Star Wars toys, also timed to match the game's mid-September release.

So, while you're searching for a hammer to break open that Jar Jar Binks collectible bank, hit the Movies tab at the top of the page and check out the slick trailer for Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.
