Cars

Burn rubber through Radiator Springs in this passable follow-up to the movie

The console versions of Cars are all essentially identical, with the Xbox and GameCube sporting better visuals and faster load times than the PS2 version, as per usual. The PS2 is also a little choppier during two-player matchups, which doesn't slow down gameplay, but does make the animation a little less smooth.

Whichever version you play, Cars is a likable little racing adventure. The gameplay is nothing outstanding, but it's fun enough while it lasts, and overall it looks pretty slick. If you've seen the movie and long to explore Radiator Springs for yourself, this is worth checking out.
