Call of Duty 2: Big Red One

Rrring... Rrring... Hello, Duty? Why yes, we'll be right there!

There are a few issues with Big Red One (particularly a slow trudge through the Africa campaign and spots of truly artificial intelligence), but fans of the series will find it enjoyable, intense, and an improvement over earlier chapters. For everyone else, it's a temporary wartime distraction. The Big Rent One, perhaps.
You'll love
  • Passable graphics occasionally impress
  • The voice acting sells the story
  • Lotsa fun Nazi name-calling
You'll hate
  • Bugs occasionally interfere
  • Dumb AI
  • Too much of the bland African desert
