GamesRadar UK Podcast 015 - Sexy hot E3 talk

Brace yourself - it's time for your fortnightly dose of the GamesRadar UK Podcast! This episode, excitement has hit fever pitch because it's the week before E3. It's also hit 'fever' pitch because it's freakin' baking in the studio thanks to the broken air con. Nonetheless, Cundy, Houghton and Towell are firing on all cylinders and joined by another special guest, this time in the shape of Mr Daniel Dawkins, Editor-in-chief of PSM3, Xbox World 360 and Nintendo Gamer.

Dan may be a multiformat man nowadays, but his background lies with PlayStation, and boy, does he have some knowledge to share! Prepare for actual information, the like of which you've never heard before (at least on this podcast). And if that pleases you, anyone looking for more PS, or other game news, live from E3, can follow Dan on Twitter. Before that, there's always our list of E3 rumours.

Besides that, Hooters is forced to profess his love of Kinect, both Matt and Dan reveal their Yoda-related incidents over the weekend, and the Towell Joke Factory actually gets at least one laugh. There's a first time for everything.

Click the 'Click to hear us now!' black banner below to begin your adventure.

The games we're giving away on the podcast this week are: Just Dance 3 on Xbox 360 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on PS3 or Xbox 360 - YOU DECIDE. To be in with a chance of winning these awesome video games, listen out for the question at the start of the podcast and leave your answer in the comments on this very page. Best answer wins. Good luck.

  • Martfish - June 1, 2012 3:06 p.m.

Did Dave say the phrase 'contractually obliged' again this week????
  • Kelshaw1996 - May 31, 2012 4:13 p.m.

My three E's are.. E-very other wednesday where my ears are filled with the sounds of monkey noises and terrible jokes.. (I am referring to the podcast, I don't live in a mental home) E-lder scrolls 5- skyrim, what other game lets you create a moustached cat and become a serial killer? kinEct- only joking, it's shit Love the podcast as always
  • Tenlo - May 31, 2012 10:15 a.m.

E's a good, Ebenezer good, keeping it up-to date and relevant!! 1) E-xtra Life, always a good thing to have and something sadly missing from a lot of modern games. I miss having to perform some stupidly difficult jump which would cost me about 3 lives so I could have that satisfaction of one extra life! 2)E-lder Scrolls, for three games in a row I have lost far too much of my young adulthood picking up every useful item in a cave while wondering why all bandits keep so much crockery in barrels 3)ET the game and its subsequent burial as now we now there will never be anything as terrible again, plus an awesome urban legend

Fantastic Podcast again, the joke factory never fails to make me laugh if maybe not quite how Mr Towell intended. Now for my 3 Es. 1) Ellis from Left 4 Dead 2. Absolutely love the L4D games and his random anecdotes are the perfect way to get Valve's humor into a suspense filled horror shooter. 2) The E's I take will playing GTA Vice City and hanging out in the Malibu Club. Then dancing the night away to Wang Chung in my living room. 3) The Erection I get while playing DOA: Beach Volleyball!! Oooooooo titteeeess!! Come lie next to me, you my friend...
  • Sully8764 - May 31, 2012 5:03 a.m.

    1) E. Nigma AKA The Riddler from Batman Arkham City/Asylum. Really made you think hard, and added a great and interesting layer to the game. 2) Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. A game not afraid to try new things, really fun and interesting. Also, Andy Serkis. Can't go wrong with Serkis. 3) Energy Sword: A holy grail in any Halo game, it's fun to watch other players try in vain to run away from its electrifyingly excellent embrace!
  • ShortFuse - May 31, 2012 2:58 a.m.

My 3 favorite Es in gaming are.... 1)Expresso the Ostrich from Donkey Kong Country because it's not often I get to ride a bird really fast... 2)Ethan Mars from Heavy Rain for making me shout 'SHAAAAAUUUUN' whenever I play a game with QTE cut scenes. SHAAAAAUN! 3)Ezlo from Zelda Minish Cap. I like Ezlo a lot, but he made me quite unpopular with the nearby seaside town of Blackpool when I killed a seagull and wore it as a hat for about 20 minutes.

  • Gazanator101 - May 30, 2012 11:14 a.m.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy! Oh wait, you said gaming. Okay then. Espeon, Eddie Gordo, and the Engineer from Team Fortress 2.
  • ithurtstopoop - May 30, 2012 9:41 a.m.

Echo the dolphin, Egg man aka Robotnic and Earl form Toejam & Earl. And no my account hasn't been hacked by Mr.Towell
  • KidJustKid - May 30, 2012 9:37 a.m.

My favourite 3 Es? E-numbers, E-numbers, E-numbers and E-numbers. That's what games are both a reasonable substitute for, and what, among others, Child of Eden and Audiosurf feel like a large dose of.
  • Vagrant - May 30, 2012 9:29 a.m.

My favourite Es are the triple E breasts in Dead or Alive. Good physics. (That's how cup sizes work, right?)
  • Kieran712 - May 30, 2012 6:44 a.m.

As always a great podcast! My favourite 3 E's would be: Ezio Auditore da Firenze: He is the epitome of a badass and he has a hook blade that is both a bland AND a hook! (The) Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion :It was the game that introduced me to Bethesda and all the amazing games they create regardless of the bugs. And you could be a cat man MGS3 Snake Eater: Okay I know this one is a long shot but MGS3 is my favourite game of all time. From the amazing gameplay to the insane/genuis story to the hour long cutscenes. Simply amazing
  • Ravenwild - May 30, 2012 4:47 a.m.

My 3 favourite Es in gaming are those 3 pills I took before playing resident evil 2 for a day solid. I don't know why it's called survival horror because all those zombies loved me and were trying to hug me. I love those cuddly bastards.
  • YouAreTearingMeApartAntista - May 30, 2012 3:43 a.m.

Just started listening, can't wait to hear it all. My 3 favourite Es in gaming would be Everybodys Golf, because it's really fun, Ezio Auditore, because he's really cool and erections, because SEXY PIXEL LADIES IT'S NICE I LIKE YOU!
  • ShortFuse - May 30, 2012 3:03 a.m.
