Whether you're yearning to live out your rockstar dream or simply be the “guy with a guitar” at parties, Rocksmith 2014 Edition could be the game that helps you reach your goals. Developed by Ubisoft, Rocksmith eschews plastic instruments for gameplay that allows players to plug in a real guitar or bass and jam along to in-game lessons. The 2014 edition will come loaded with over 50 tracks to help you in your training, ranging from the classic rock stylings of The Who, the headbanging tunes of Iron Maiden, the grungy sounds of Nirvana, and a slew of current bands.
Rocksmith 2014 Edition is the follow up to 2012's original. Ubisoft promises an entirely new experience built from the ground up to offer new interfaces, more in-depth training, and an adaptive Session Mode that will give players the chance to join a virtual band and have them follow your lead.

Remember how we told you last month's Sims 3 expansion, Movie Stuff, would be the absolute final add-on for Maxis' life simulator? Psych! Turns out there's still new life in the Sims 3 world, and this time it includes a futuristic twist.
Into the Future will rocket Sims players hundreds of years ahead in their timeline where they will enter a brave new world teeming with strange technologies, fashions, cultures, and cybernetic slaves. Accessible via the Time Portal, the expansion will open players to a future full of things to do, places to plunder, jet packs to fly, and robots to make via the Create-A-Bot feature. What's more, actions in the present day Sims 3 universe will affect a player's future living conditions. This will enable players to shape their worlds through their mating, working, and consumer habits.
Sims 3: Into the Future is (allegedly) the last expansion before Sims 4. We think.
There's trouble in Bikini Bottom and only you (not you, the yellow guy with the big eyes … yeah him) can save the day! Can you stop the fiendish Plankton from yoinking the secret formula for Krabby Patties? Will you survive Plankton's league of robotic monstrosities? Will you lie to your significant other when they ask you what you're playing? All these answers and more will be answered on the next video game episode of SpongeBob Squarepants, which will let players slip into the roles of SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Sandy; and save Bikini Bottom from Plankton's peril!

It'd be easy to confuse this month's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles entry with last month's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows arrival. Both come by way of Activision, both encourage four-player co-op, and both crib the turtle's look and style from the current Nickelodeon cartoon. But while Out of the Shadows was a third-person, co-op action-adventure, TMNT is billed as a side-scrolling brawler with a story all its own.
TMNT is being developed by Magic Pockets, a studio out of France known for contributing to handheld chapters of the Petz, Imagine, and Rapala series. The studio looks to be taking the turtles back to their 2D, hack-em-up roots, which should come as promising news for TMNT video game fans who cling to the turtles' NES and SNES glory days.
