Movie website IESB.net reports that Walt Disney Studios (Walt Disney Pictures is co-producing the movie with Jerry Bruckheimer Films) is "hopeful" that the film director "will indeed direct the picture" after concluding directorial duties on the Transformers movie out this summer.
